As far as I know, it's the best armor, but if something has replaced it due to the extra dungeons in the Game Boy Advance version, go ahead and fix that. I haven't completed the extra bits yet. The Armor article is now up. I created this article because of a post that came up in the List of Final Fantasy weapons talk. It was about the Genji Armor being put in the weapons category. Thus why this article was started. So far, I have decided to orginize it based on each Final Fantasy Game.
I did expect that because the armor will be categorized by each game that it will indeed be very large, but I find this more organized that from previous articles I have viewed.
The articles are set up according to each game and sub sections can be created if need. This is due to games like Final Fantasy 4 and I my self am only working on the Final Fantasy X section for now. I'll move on to some other games soon. My only problem is that I have not played Final Fantasy 3, 5, 6, 9, or I'm still currently looking for those games unused or undamaged.
So this is where everyone else will come it. Hopefully this article will become more developed overtime. I have finished typing out the list of armor for all the characters in Final Fanatasy X.
I will now start on X I noticed a few errors upoun completing the sectiosn so I made some revisions. I'll be starting on VII and probably finishing up X-2 by later today. If anyone notices errors or feels that something needs to be changed please feel free to edit those sections already done. The lists need to be removed from this page or it could be subject to deletion. We should only talk about things we have some sourced information to go with.
For example, look at List of Final Fantasy weapons. Not every weapon from every game is listed. Just the really important and notable weapons are included. Now, JiFish and Seancdaug have talked about only putting the reoccuring or notable armor on the list Plus, like Lightbringer, it has some interesting ways as to acquire it. Ribbon - In nearly every game, either as headgear or an accessory, often, the most useful headgear, and has the immunity to all status ailments. I'm pretty sure there are some others I'm forgetting at the moment Here's my suggestion on going about this.
I will start writing the new article above the old article, then delete the old lists.

It has spawned sequels, spin-offs and influenced various video games, though itself influenced by Dragon Quest. Four hundred years prior to the events of the game, the world was submerged into darkness when four of the elemental crystals dimmed.
Prophecy foretold of four warriors of light who could rid the world of darkness, though their names are never known by the player. The four warriors are then required to travel across the world, battling villains and conquering temples.
The four characters learn that Chaos, the game's antagonist, is causing this distress and did so two thousand years in the past. They travel in the past, defeat the villain, and return to their home where their heroic doings are not known beyond legend.
In the beginning of the game, you're required to choose from six different classes. In all, there are four characters, and each one can be assigned a different class.
It is impossible to have one of each. Together the characters were known as the Light Warriors.

The Light Warriors were basically represented as one entity - they didn't have distinct personalities, contrary to ever other game in the series excluding Final Fantasy III for the Famicom and Nintendo DS. As in most role-playing video games, the world map connected all of the towns and temple together. It was scaled down for quick access to everywhere else. Once you came into contact with a village or dungeon, which were represented by appropriate icons, then you would the world would be brought to scale and you could traverse the area, conversing with the locales and completing the dungeons depending on where you were.
In shops you could purchase a variety of items while in inns you could raise your health meter for all your characters. As characters progress through the game, their level will increase. All of the characters will start their level at one, though it can be increased all the way to fifty.
In order to increase your level, you'll need to gain experience by defeating monsters in battle that you encounter in the dungeons and overworld. Combat is explained below. Each weapon type has its own level of proficiency, or weapon level, which can be raised to sixteen, similarly to spell levels. A character's weapon level with a weapon type affects that weapon's abilities in a few ways; for one, it determines how many hits they can make with a weapon of that type, where the max amount of hits is equal to the corresponding weapon's level.
Weapon level experience is obtained by using the Attack command with the corresponding weapon equipped. The amount of proficiency experience gained is based on the number of times the Attack command is used in the battle plus the Rank of the enemy formation against the user's weapon level. Bows are two-handed weapons and give a double Strength bonus to Attack. The Attack value of Fists varies depending on Unarmed level, whether a shield is being used, and whether the shield is in the off-hand or dominant hand.

Aside from all the obvious game play elements there was a little cluster of secrets to be found in the game. This "secrets" concept was largely left out of the original Final Fantasy for NES and involved hidden bosses, a hidden programmers room, secret weapons, summons etc. In the following write-up I will reveal for you each of these secrets areas, magics, and items. This one is named Pale Dim. When the battle begins cast float on yourself then hit him with everything you got.
An important point is not to take any of these guardian bosses for granted. When the battle is over you will be the proud new owner of Edge's Murasame blade. Name: Crystal Sword Location: Lunar Underground, B6 This weapon is a little tricky to find because you need to cross an invisible bridge to get it. When u enter B6 walk to the northwest most portion of the area and you will find a niche sticking out of the left side with another little peninsula that looks like it compliments it.
If you thought there was an invisible bridge here then you are right.
Talk:Final Fantasy armor and accessories
Cross the invisible bridge and make your way to the teleport plate. Save and get ready to fight Wyvern. This guy can be nasty with Nuke and MegaNuke. He also casts a wall spell on himself, which can be countered by casting wall on yourself and bouncing magic to him, attacking him with conventional weapons or hitting him with Rydias Calls.
Keep in mind if things get really bad Ashura can heal your whole party and even bring swooned members back to life. This nice weapon is guarded by a nasty monster called Plague that likes to cast a death spell on you. This spell will leave you with a 10 second time limit to beat him in. Try having Kain jump also. You should have no problem beating him in 10 seconds. When you walk in there are two pillars. Try walking in between them and there will be a flash, a warning, then a fight.
Two D. Lunars attack you and mainly cast wall, virus, and Fire2. When they start to take damage they will cast remedy to recover health. Just do what you have been doing against the other guardian bosses and cast Bahamut and use your other powerful attacks. They will go down and you will now possess have 2 Ribbons for your females. This beast has 38, hp so like all other battles watch your health and hit him with your most powerful attacks.
Be liberal in your use of Ashura in this battle and experiment with Fast and Berserk spells. Berserking and Fasting Cecil would be really nice for this encounter. Pink Puffs will drop Pink Tails very rarely, so rarely that there is a 1 and 64 chance you will get one but if you do get one, it is the key to the strongest armor in the game. When you get a Pink Tail bring it to the tail collector to the south of Silvera and just repeat the process you did to get the Excalibur I am not sure if the tail collector gives the armor to you directly or if he will give you more ore to bring to Kokkol.
It is really easy to get and fairly powerful. Start off by going to the Overworld if you are not already there. Head to Silvera by way of the Enterprise towing the hovercraft. Use the hovercraft to get to the mine south of Silvera and inside you will find a midget. Give him the rats tail and he will give you some Adamant Ore he mined. Now return to the Underground and head to the southeast area. Enter the tiny house you find and give Kokkol the Adamant Ore.
